I am unable to get 3d graphics on my laptop. I've tried the standard
reinstall xserver-xorg, xserver-xorg-video-intel, dpkg-reconfigure, and
then restart, but it hasn't worked.
My video card:
$ lspci | grep VGA

Hi,
My 3D acceleration is out. It worked greatly until yesterday.
inael@inael:~$ glxinfo | grep rendering
Xlib: extension "NV-GLX" missing on display ":1.0".
direct rendering: No (If you want to find out why, try setting

This happens if I try running glxgears, ut2004demo, etc. I didn't edit
my XF86C

Make sure you have Load "glx" in the Module section in XF86Config
Anyone have a clue as to how to fix that? This is what happens when I

Dear friends:
I forgot to add that the "glx" module is indeed enabled in XF86Config-4. Here is the

I just tried to reproduce my previous problem and at this time I see
this error which looks like a completely different problem at this
time.
