it's a few days ago that I was posting but now my problem is solved.
Here is the correct entry for the Eumex 300IP in the /etc/network/interfaces
and my LAN is running on my router:
/etc/network/interfaces
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.178.89
netmask
