it's a few days ago that I was posting but now my problem is solved.
Here is the correct entry for the Eumex 300IP in the /etc/network/interfaces
and my LAN is running on my router:
/etc/network/interfaces
auto eth0
iface eth0 inet static
address 192.168.178.89
netmask 255.255.255.0
broadcast 192.168.178.255
gateway 192.168.178.1
Very important is the gateway as the Eumex 300IP has a resistent ip
available in the network known as 192.168.178.1.
I was in contact with a local general mailinglist and we all had a
success with debian again to solve my problem !
