Is the new installer the same as the RC3 released on March 23rd? Basically, if I'm going to setup a system for which I plan to switch to testing or unstable and do a dist-upgrade on anyway, should I stick with my RC3 testing installer, or is the new one going to do something or another better?

I am running debian testing and during the upgrade last nigh (apt-get upgrade) squirrel mail has broken. I get an error message telling me to run conf.pl as it doesn't support plain as the authentication type. I have reset this to clear and it now says invalid username / password.   I am running uw
