New Installer

Is the new installer the same as the RC3 released on March 23rd?

Basically, if I'm going to setup a system for which I plan to switch to
testing or unstable and do a dist-upgrade on anyway, should I stick with
my RC3 testing installer, or is the new one going to do something or
another better?
