everythign is fine except playing cd music which is
fine under winme. Run aumix and unmute everythign
doesnlt help, when run grip the light on the cd drive
is blinking but no sound at all. custom Kernel 2.2.19

Yes I tested with Mandrake 8.1 ; no problem with make
bzImage but in woody it failed with the message
Undefine reference to uhci_remove()
Perhaps it is a bug in binutils or gcc?

dont know which package caused the problem before but
it is a good job that thing are getting improved in

I got the same cards, it works out-of-the-box in XFree
4.x.x ; and with xfree 3.3.6 you need to download the
X svga for this cards and manually install it, this I
am not sure how but I am sure it can bo done :-); I am
using it under woody XFree 4.1.0

gimp-1.2.2; and using checkinstall create a debian

Hi,
I got i810 board (sound integrated). I use alsa
modules
snd-card-intel8x0
sound system is ok just midi; when I play using
playmidi test.mid
it says
open /dev/sequencer: No such device
then I try kmid:
Player :: There are no midi ports !
if I run kmidi it can play but the sound quality

Has anyone run Tuxracer in debian testing? (XFree
4.03).
I noticed in my machine, it is very slow (can not use
it) due to lack of 3D accelation. However in
/var/log/XFree86.0.log DRI is enabled. Here ia an
exerpt from that file
