But the old xsvga has a bug that causes the font not to display. I dont know how about the current xsvga in debian potato yet. probably it got fixed. If not try to replace it using the suse rpm version ; better copy it by hand to replace it the old server; This works for me long time a go when I installed for my friend machine. I still have this rpm here, if you can find out or need, I could send it to you.
