I'm confused about root's bash profile. In vt1, the directories /sbin &

I'm not sure why there isn't a common bash profile for root in vt1 vs.

I just installed and burned a cd per the cd writing howto, but now I
can't find what to mount to read it.
It's not at scd0 or scsi0 and I'm not sure how to find it.
Does anyone know how to find it or see anything wrong with how I set
this up?
Thanks for any input,

Hi. I wonder if anybody has any advice on network configuration,
because I can't get eth1 to pass any traffic out of my router box.
I've got box1's eth0 connected to my dsl line through the dsl

connected to the internet fine.
Hello.
I just rebuilt the 2.2.17 kernel for a firewall/router and got the

lspci -vvb lists both cards and I added the appropriate "append=" line

Does anyone know how I can prevent the kernel from doing this device

I've got Linux on a secondary IDE hard drive(secondary master).
