I tried the package "gtkam", but I didn't find the supported model from the

I have installed the related driver, it can be managed with ifconfig or

HI All:
I have Lenny/SID on my DELL D630 lap.
But it seems that the X hangs a lot now and then. I had to use
CTRL_BACKSPACE killing and restarting the X.
I was using Xfce4 as the desktop, the kernel is 2.6.22-2-686.
It's annoying that the X freezes and can't do anything until restart the X.

Hi All:
I was compiling the alsa sound driver on my laptop, while the network was
working well.
When finished compile, I reboot the laptop, and now the network doesn't work
at all.
I found there's no "ifconfig" command, and no network script under
/etc/init.d.

Any body has installed Debian Lenny/Sid on DELL D630 (T7250)?
I hit a problem on installing alsa package for driver of sound card.
It seems doesn't work and I can not startup alsamixer.
Is there an extra steps to configure the sound driver on this laptop? I have
it working on my PC machine.

Hi All:
I want to access my linux box with vncserver installed - Debian lenny/sid
But I couldn't use my fcitx in vncviewer, the CTRL_SPACE key is
conflicted with the windows input methods.
I have installed the vnc4server and vnc-common package, the xstartup
script is as follows:
#!/bin/sh

kill aptitude after that.
But the apt-get works fine in terminal.
Was there issue of building the view in aptitude after new packages
