I had the same problem with the lost icons! Upgrading today brought almost
everything back to normal! The only icons I'm missing at the moment are
in Korganizer!

xserver-xfree86 package it just hangs forever (ok, it doesn't really hang)!
I can break with Ctrl-C, but that doesn't really help me in setting up X
on Debian :)
Any help appreciated!
