Hi,
I would like to find out the creation timestamp of one of the folder
on my Sarge servers. By default the "ls" command displays the last
modified timestamp. Please help.
Thank you

Hello,
after installing webmin on my sarge server, I tried to download and
install a few themes for it. Even though the webmin confirms a
successful install into /usr/local/share/webmin, none of the newly
installed themes appear in the selection drop down list. Please help.

Hi guys,
now updated to bind 9.3.1 from etch. Added "-4" to /etc/default/bind9
so that OPTIONS="-4 -u bind".
Still any query even with forward only to my ISP's DNS servers takes a
few seconds. With logging enabled, some interesting results can be
seen. This is what "dig www.google.com" gives me.
I
am not sure how to compile the package myself under debian. Not sure
how to satisfy all the dependencies, etc. Do you know how to do that?

hi Franz,
looks like it means that there is no way to have a properly working
BIND9 if you want to stay within the "stable" branch of code (offering
9.2.4-1 at the moment)?

I may be wrong. "named -4 " is added in versions 9.3.x.

Hi Steve,
you can safely download just the CD1 and install any additional soft
that is not on CD1 using apt-get directly from the internet.
I hope that is of any help.

Hello,
I would like to find out if there is a way to properly configure the
default BIND 9.2.4-1 that comes with Sarge.
At present it takes several seconds to resolve simple querries like
www.google.com. Once the query is cached, the answer comes straight
away.
I did some research, especially on
Hello,
on a clean Sarge installation I am trying to configure nagios-text.
During the install it suggested to add the required settings to the
Apache's config. However Nagios refuses to let me see any of the host
details pages with the "CGI authorization error" message.
I have read that this is a
