My mistake... I forgot a step. Rename the config file you copied in
the kernel src dir to .config.

Why are there some packages which won't install because they are
dependant on unavailable packages? Should a bug report be done for

I'm currently running SID. Yesterday, I attempted to run a program that I
wrote which uses the SDL libraries. It used to work, but now I'm getting
unresolved symbol errors in libSDL-1.2.so.0. (XF86VidModeQueryExtension, for
example). Did SDL change or maybe XFree86?

the following into the /etc/sysctl.conf file fixed the problem.
net/ipv4/tcp_ecn=0
I don't remember why. Maybe someone else can explain that.
