Hello!
I am on a debian stable+testing system, with cinnamon. For quite some time
emacs (gui) is misbehaving.
I have installed both emacs 24 and emacs25 packages, same issue with both.
I have installed ess (emacs speaks statistics) which is very useful with
R. Usually, I run emacs, and open a b

Now, I try to find out how to test alternatives, like enlightenment. I
installed enlightenment (e17)

Mostly everything works (better than) in gnome, but two Qs:
1) How to define multiple keyboard layout (I need to switch between
english, spanish and norwegian). In the settings menu, there is a
keyboard item,
but for me it doesnt work.

to make live debian iso's. The program starts fine, and I walk past

I have debian Wheezy 64 bit installed, and just installed the new
skype for 64bit debian.
It works OK, but it cannot access my camera --- it can receive video,
but not send. Then I tried to start Cheese,
which worked earlier when I had 32 bit linux on this same machine, but
no says it cannot
I ran this command on my laptop, and the returned list includes:
