Hello,
I am running Debian Woody with the latest KDE2 packages. I have been
trying to install some themes I downloaded from kde.themes.org. One of
the themes is a 1.1.2 theme and one is a KDE2 theme. However, I can't
find out how to install the themes. From my searching on the 'net it
seems that I

Actually I use dpkg-scanpackage with great success. apt-move can also
move packages from /var/cache/apt into a directory structure. Check
the man page for dpkg-scanpackage, if you need more help ask me and I
will provide examples.

You don't mention whether you are using potato, slink, or woody, but
my comment applies regardless. Samba 2.0.6 and below have cur

Okay, I am having more problems. I decided to enable logging for slapd
so I can see when connections are made, what is being searched for,
and be better able to determine what is and isn't working with my
setup. No luck. I can't get logging to work. I have set 'loglevel 1',
'loglevel 256', and othe

Yes, I configured the host and base parameters. I didn't think I
needed to configure any of the other options.

I have that installed and my passwd line reads 'ldap files'.

I installed xemacs21 this evening and wanted to deinstall

other packages, won't install with xemacs21 or is there a valid
reason? I would really
Hello,
I noticed recently that AbiWord, ssh, and alsa all have newer

Hello,
Thanks for all of the replies. Last I check out the LDP (

about customizing LinuxDoc though I have found plenty about DocBook.

Thanks for all the help. For the moment, I have linked

it works.

That line is the crucial line. 'make menuconfig' uses the ncurses
library to build the menu interface. Installing the libncurses5-dev
package should solve your problem.

Hello,
I am not sure exactly where to ask this question, but the
