I started using KMail recently. I prefer the "inline attachments" format.
I noticed that (a) KMail goes into an infinite loop when I click the previous

For those converting existing potato systems:
Make sure you uncomment the loopback interface in this file!
Both inetd and KDE hung for a long time when I didn't uncomment it.
Also ifconfig did not show the interface when it was commented out.

Just apt-get removed realplayer because it was causing a bus error in Netscape.
The maintainer may want to read the fine print on real.com:
RealPlayer 7 for RedHat is a beta version.
Do beta versions belong in a frozen distribution?

I got a good timestamp on modules.dep by renaming
/etc/rcS.d/S50hwclock.sh to /etc/rcS.d/S20hwclock.sh.
Is this safe? I rebooted and nothing appears broken yet.

My Hardware Clock is set to local time to keep another OS happy.
/etc/rcS.d has
S20modutils
S50hwclock.sh
(among others)
so modules.dep is timestamped as though the Hardware Clock were set to GMT.

I tried searching the list archives but I kept getting "no articles found."
What's the problem here?

I enabled APM in the BIO
Where does one do this??
Or does it require a friend with a fast connection and CD burner?
