Hi all,
While setting up my clock in KDE 1.1.2, I asked it to
say the time every hours.
Every hours, it says: "The time is... The time is... The time is..."
and that's all :(); is it a bug, or do I miss something?

You're right, and there's no real explanations...
I zap them and replaced with a nice file alone ;)

Yeah, no problem.

I don't think so, but I'm not a huge specialist.

Had the same (under 2.0.36), its because the executable version on CDz is
2.0.36-3, but when you compile, the version number is, b

Just one word upon this excellent explanation: you'd better give a hi level
version number to your kernel, to avoid downgrading if you're kernel as a
version number lower than the one installed, wich could make dselect wanting to
reinstall the old kernel each time you run
Hi all,
I have a little problem with my provider DNS: mine is much faster, but I need to
access the provider's if I want to have the news groups and mail sending
allowed, because my identification is made by these DNS (I'm on a cable
network).
So how could I make my server not to answer to the req

No X-server for ATI 128GL, it seems its still the mess for xfree86 team to get
the entries

Hi all,
I think bind is able to keep the best routes in a file.
Is it really possible? And how can I set it up?
I'd like to keep all the routes used to access certain web servers.

Hi all,
I had some emails with ATI, and they supplied a spreadsheet containing the
compatibles VESA modes with existing X-server in Linux.
I think it could be interesting for people who experienced problem with this
card.
BTW, I asked ATI when they will give information to the xfree86 staff, in o
Hi all,
I'm trying to make a little network at home: PII400-486DX2/66 (as server).
The problem is from the PII to the 486: if I try to make a telnet or a ftp from
the PII, it takes 1min15 to the process to appear on a 'top' listing on the 486,
and the whole time between typing 'telnet (or ftp) 19
