didin't switch in fullscreen mode but changed to
640x400 with leaving the virtual desctop size to
1200x1024.
Does anyone know why this happend? I already
re-installed Q3 and Xfree 4.1 nut it didn't help...

Better insert
modprobe ide-probe-mod
here.

If it is, you need to turn
DMA off on your IDE disks.

Hi,
Has anyone had any problems searching the user mailing
archive recently? Since several days, I always get 0
results whatever I enter as search string.
Is it broken or am I just too stupid?

it by
default on startup. This worked for esd, but for the
dsp device, I have problems getting apps running. The
cat /dev/sndstat results in a "no such device". But
the device file does exist in /dev, a well as the dsp.
Any ideas?

Have you managed to run movies in full-screen? I
cannot find an option that would toggle to full screen
mode when I use th -s option...

Then when I have a look at xvinfo it says "maximum Xv
image size: 1024 x 0". I guess this is the zero-size
that was mentioned in the error message. Anyone an
idea how I can change this value?

After a manual modprobe, the sound works without any

Has anyone got the bttv drivers working on a
2.4-kernel? Experienced any problems? Are there any
changes to 2.2?
