when I installed netatalk, I was unable to login too. I deleted one line
from the /etc/pam.d/netatalk file, my present file shows the following
lines:
authrequired/usr/lib/security/pam_unix_auth.so
account required/usr/lib/security/pam_unix_acct.so
session required/usr
