I cannot get this printer to work when I boot into linux. With
the same hardware it works perfectly in windows. Other printers
I have no problem with from my Debian.
Anyone have any success with this printer?

backup the / partition.
reinstall a base system - upgrade this to sid - copy back
the / omitting /boot (I actually have /boot on another partition).

I solved the problem soon after sending the email by disabling
irq 10 in the bios, then one card caught irq 9 and the other 4 -
I thought there was meant to be some science in this stuff ;)
