Hi, and thanks for all the tips!
For me the add of:
"/dev/sda... bios=0x80" in /etc/lilo.conf solved the problem.
It turned of that when combining IDE and SCSI disk
devices LILO cant tell which on is the primary disk,
then setting IDE by defau

What I then get is "LILO" promt cut off to "LI" or "L" and then
it starts printing "80" in an endless cycle.
What can I do? Do I have an error in lilo.conf?

How can I add a system proxy specification to
work with normal shells?
I manually added my proxy and port in mozilla
and that now workes well but not console shells.
Thanks again

Hi,
what is the best and recommended way to get
KDE 3 up and running in my Debian 2.4.18
"testing" environment?
I want to be able to go back to 2.2 if anything
fails.
Do I have to get QT and KDE and compile them
from source?
By the way, whats the status of KDE 3 under Debian?
