Hi,
I'm trying to login trough telnet (Windows XP) to
my Debian box (sarge 2.4.22-1-k7). Without luck.
I have searched Debian and google.
What has to be done in Debian to allow telnet?
This I have done:
- apt-get install telnetd
- modified hosts.allow, added:
statd: 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0
telnetd: 192.168.0.0/255.255.255.0
(hosts.deny says ALL:ALL)
