Ive been able to boot X, but I would like to run
a windows manager with it like window maker, but I get a Xterm window, and when
I try to manually run a manager, I cannot click on the buttons. What did I do
wrong? I dpkged the files, and they seem to install correctly...

no go. I've tard and retard my files in
a futile attempt to copy them to disk... I even created my own mini packages
file. None of this works, and I have (gasp) almost given up hope. Other then
lending out my hard disk to a friend who won't loan out the CD, what else can I
do?

What FTP, directory, and files are needed to get xwindows? I have Debian,
and I'm a new user. The computer is a 486 20MBram and no modem. Attachments
are welcome!
