Hello,
I have configured mrtg to log network traffic for our organization. This is
working nicely except at some point while I was fiddling with the scripts
under /etc/cron.d, which run every 5 minutes to collect snmp data I started
getting emails to root from cron. I have stared at this and googl
Even if you don't see the packages in the list, you can still install
them "by hand" using dpkg -i (replace x1.1.1.deb

pretty important ones; you'll need them for various other packages, and

Well, I just recently installed Debian for the first time, via FTP via a

A big thanks to you for all the help. I installed the said libraries,

For the information of other beginners, the installation files should be

So libc6 does not in anyway replace libc5, meaning I have to install
both libraries and not just libc6 then?

Hi there,
Anybody got any ideas for this?
I downloaded WordPerfect for Linux (an X application), gunzipped it to a
tar file and then ran tar on it to extract about 8 or 9 files plus Runme

lot in /tmp on my filesystem. I run R
My laptop has a little DOS program to load on booting, with another for the
mouse. Maybe yours does too.
I haven't done it, but how about running dosemu and running that utility in the
background?
Or is there something under Linux that could do the same thing?
