Hi,
I'm looking at doing some remaps on my system with the keymap. After
reading man dumpkeys, man keymaps and man loadkeys, briefely, I was just
wondering if someone could tell me where the default keymap is stored so
I can back it up! And then edit it?
Thx
Daniel.

Hi!
I've been playing with bitlbee! It seems good, but I just have a couple
quick questions about it, which would make my experience that bit
better:
1. Using the msn protocol how do I set a personal message? I read
somewhere there is a pse command, but this doesn't seem to exist on my
version...

All I can recommend is to boot single user mode, sudo aptitude update
sudo aptitude safe-upgrade sudo dpkg --configure gdm
perhaps even aptitude remove gdm and aptitude install gdm then reboot
into multy user mode.

Yes. Thanks, might subscribe
Hi,
On the standard console (alt+ctr+f1), no x session running, is it
possible to run a command after a certain number of minutes where no
keys have been pressed? Like the gnome screen saver, except for the
console. I want to be able to run vlock after say 15 minutes with no one
pressing anything
Hi,
Are the following lines in /etc/anacrontab ok? Anyway to verify they
will work or do I just have to wait?
Here are the lines:
1 20 rsnapshot_day /usr/bin/rsnapshot daily
7 35 rsnapshot_weekly /usr/bin/rsnapshot weekly

That's a valid point.

Hi,
How stable is debian testing (squeeze)? Is it worth updating to? Or
should I wait a little bit until more development has been done? I used
to run debian when it was testing, so wonder if squeez is this stable?

I'm also having problems. I'm trying to do a similar thing.
Anyone know why my generated iso doesn't contain any of the packages
from packages.list even though I did
lh_config --packages-list ~/packages.list
And file from ~/build/config/includes
aren't on the livecd either. What's going on here?

Hi,
Does anyone know of a general linux discussion mailing list with many
users as another source of info? Also, I'm quite busy, and would be
interested in a few rss feads to add to snownews, which would update
with new howtos for debian and just linux in general, so if I find
something cool, I ca

Has anyone had any luck subscribing to mutt-users? I can't seem to
subscribe, I get my email returned with an error about
Mailing to remote domains not supported.
Tried with my iinet.net.au address, and gmail as well as hotmail.
Anyone know how I can join this group?
Thx
Daniel.
