I've solved this issue, I simpley removed all the files /var/lib/dpkg/adobe-flashplugin.list pointed to, and I made each script in there return 0 and do nothing by placing exit 0 at the top. So now I did dpkg force remove and it worked, not the nicest solution, but better than a reinstall. Dan
