Hi all,
I just did an apt-get upgrade on my testing box. It was discussed
before that X may be broken for the time being, but my problem is a
little different.
startx runs the old version, 3.3.6
I have the XF86Config-4 file ready to go. I've looked over the
tree of X scripts, binaries, and conf
plugin. I'm
not positive, but I think I may be symlinking the plugins directory
for each release (I can't check until Tuesday - at work).

It belongs to package 'bin86'

Try going to /usr/src/linux and do a 'make include/linux/version.h' as
root. I think that may do it..

I've also tried compiling glide from source, but that gives the same
results.
