I agree. I've been looking at the IPMasq HowTo, and I think I'm on a
better track now. I'll send an update to the list if I get things working.
At the least, I haven't seen much on the net about this setup, and it would
be good to have available.

Now I need to figure out how to get fetchmail to deliver to my smtp server
with TLS. That one is proving much more difficult.

Then I set in /etc/defaults/fetchmail, RUNASROOT=true, and it delivers fine.
Anyone have any ideas?

1) Plays nice with Debian Linux (potato)
2) Freeware, nag-free shareware, GPL?
I'd strongly recommend running VNC instead. 'apt-get install vncserver'
and download the windows client at <http://www.uk.research.att.com/vnc/>
Completely free and works g

Does anyone know of a good program to do this type of filtering?
Procmail. I use it both at home, and work. Good stuff.

Aha! That seems to have solved my compilation problems. Thanks!
Shouldn't the kernel-headers package create this link, ya think?

I'm running kernel-image 2.2.15 on a Woody system. I've seen some

Oh, I'm running potato, and a 2.2.12 kernel. pppd version 2.3.9.
This machine is acting as a gateway for my network, and doing
ipmasquerading.

Problem: when I try to install it, it says it conflicts with exim.
When I try to remove exim, it says it's required by other packages.
How do I switch from exim to qmail? Do I have to use a yucky force
option, or is there a cleaner way to go about it?

Basically a few modifications have to be made to the gnus/mailcrypt

Apologies for replying to my own post. I should've poked around a bit
more, firs
GnuPG is fairly out
of date, while the unstable package is a nice, crisp version 1.0.
Anyone planning on updating the stable package, or should I go about
trying to make one myself?
Thanks.
