sn't sound like zsh has anything to offer that bash doesn't.
Speed. Bash is cumbersome. But if you have the computing power
it I don't see that zsh has too much else.

Personally I think they should write a bourne shell in Perl (psh?).
Now that could be fun.

FYI
I upgraded tons of packages (stable) and now lynx takes about
a minute to start.

at work here no doubt:) What it should do is a DFS on the dependency
tree so that if your download is incomplete most of the files you
grabbed will still install. Perhaps it should also give priority

There's a .deb called kernel-package. It's in there.
Note if you are making a new set of Debian Boot floppies
then be sure to turn on root ramdisk fs support since the
kernel config file that comes with kernel-package seems
to not have this option selected.

actually generate a debian kernel-image pacakage
for distribution you'll have to upgrade your libc and
so you might as well upgrade to Debian 1.2 in that case.

eone clue me in.
In the meantime, you have to hope my WWW server defaults to
Content-Type: binary and find the files at
http://www.calyx.com/~bri/projects/debian/MCA/
P.S. I don't like the C MAKEDEV. We should use the sh MAKEDEV.
