There are lots of them, go to freshmeat and do a search for bottle

probably best to install samba clients and servers on all machine, as
necessary.
if a machine needs to access a windows drive, install client
if a machine needs to share a drive to windows, install server.
as a third possibility, install NFS client/server on the windows boxes.

I have written documents in DocBook SGML and converted them to HTML,
ps, and text. I'm now trying to use XML instead, as it seems that is
what most editors support.
I haven't yet figured out how to get them to convert. Has anyone here
done it, if so, what is the header for the XML file and wha

I am trying to get apt to install the blackdown java files, the URL of
the Packages.gz file is:
http://metalab.unc.edu/pub/linux/devel/lang/java/blackdown.org/debian/dists/woody/non-free/binary-i386/Packages.gz
What should the line in the sources.list file be?

You can get webmail and a whole lot more, with phpGroupware (or you can
install just the mail module.

My box recently locked up twice, I believe due to static shock.
Now when I start gnome it says gnome-panel could not start due to
segmentation fault. A couple of other applications also got
segmentations faults.
Is this likely due to a hardware problem (memory) or did something get
corrupted
I read somewhere that ALSA was the future of sound on Linux, if that's
true, why is the documentation so far out of date?
Anyway, here is my problem.
I've compiled 2.4.16 and alsa-modules.
I ran snddevices
When I boot, it appears that ALSA loads:

Subnet masks:
If you take an IP address, such as 192.168.1.10, it has two parts, a
subnet, and a host, how do you know where one ends and the other
begins? The subnet mask
IP subnet mask subnet host

How can I determine how much video RAM my card has, I tend to buy used
parts, which usually means I have to find that stuff out for myself.
If I remember right, I used to use a program called SuperProbe to find
it, but I can't seem to locate that.
For what it's worth, it's a Matrox G450 dual head
I use ari-yahoo (text based) a lot, and a friend told me that GAIM has

I work on the phpgroupware project and we've seen problems with debian
php4 as well, recompiling the package usually fixes the problem from
what I recall.

I'm having this problem too. I boot up my machine and it goes to
GDM,
I can't type in anything. If I telnet to the machine, stop and start
GDM, then it works fine.
