No, each kernel has certain requirements, at 2.2.x kernel needs a version of
pppd that isn't available, and probably won't compile for 1.3. go to
kernelnotes.org and / or read the kernel how-to for more info.

Why not try an apt-get upgrade, then manually use deselect to rid yourself of

Hey all,
word to the wise, should you upgrade to Eterm0.9 from the cvs deb site, it
doesn't seem to read the cfg files properly. i.e. telling you that shade is
not valid in context color. and the like. Linkwise menubars don't work either.

I finally got it with
export GREP_RESULT=`grep $LOCATION $HOME/roam.db
I am writing a shell script using sed I need to figure out how I can store the
output of
grep florida roam.db | sed -e "s/^.*\? //g"
to a variable. roam.db has entries like, one per line.

True security must begin with the "Physical Security" of the box itself. One
can remove removable disk drives like CDROM, Floppy, Zip etc but anyone
could still use a paralel port drive etc, but each step you take helps. Just
my two cents.
