External modem line drops with activity

dials out again. I can get about 10 ping sequences going before it drops. This modem works fine with a windows machine. I am running potato on a AMD K-5 100mhz with 48Meg Ram (I think). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Adam Krell __ Do You
