Thank you for your suggestions. I haven't got any conclusive evidence yet to
prove that Debian had already stopped running or not. All I know is just that
the screen of the virtual machine went black and the virtual machine didn't

suggestions, this may caused by VirtualBox instead of Debain.

being held back from testing. Its likely some dependency of pcmanfm-qt
was upgraded but there are others blocking pcmanfm-qt from upgrading.
Way to many upgrades to do by hand and trying in synaptic removes a ton
of packages
