Do you have a swap partition? It has to be sufficient in size and
is necessary for Hibernation to work.
Do the usual rules-of-thumb for swap sizing apply in the case of
hibernation? Or should it be larger than that?
My PC has 48GB of RAM and 8GB swap partition, so I have to check how
much memory is used with "$ free -h" before hibernation.
In my case it is usually around 6GB, after I close some memory hogs
(VMs) and "sync" storage, so 8GB swap partition is enough for me.
