I had a chroot with debian sarge that I had to dist-upgrade to
debian etch. I have backups and everying. But the problem is
that now I try to change a user's password and I cannot.
What could be the problem? What am I not aware of (regarding
this issue)?

problem with the drop-down menus. Unhighlighted items show as black text
against a grey background (as expected). But items highlighted by moving
the mouse cursor over them show as white text on white background (thus

Recommendations for a gigabit network card for a dell poweredge 2400.
It is going to be used for network analysis. Is it going to have enough
nut for a relatively fast network or should I be looking towards

I have a DELL LCD monitor (UltraSharp 2407WFP) and it has a 9-in1 build in
card reader, connected over USB. I wonder, if there is any chance to make
this card reader work under linux. I tried to compile a kernel with USB and
MMC support, but my linux still can not detect it. Does any

You can run qemu headless, with a virtual framebuffer. Makes for a virtual
