choosewm does not give kwin as an option

I installed choosewm and made it the default session manager via sudo update-alternatives --config x-session-manager But when I login and do startx, there is no kwin option. The options that it is giving are ctwm, ion3, pwm3, ratpoison, twm. How can I go into KDE through choosewm's menu? thank
