I forgot to mention that alsamixer reports nothing is muted. I have tried playing samples and plugging headphones into every single jack in the back with no luck, I've also tried sending it out to a stereo with nothing either.

Hello, I bought an Asrock Dual-SATA2 and am trying to get sound working on it. All of my apps run and do not mention any problems, they behave as if I have suddenly become deaf, unable to hear that sound is flowing from my speakers...since I can still hear street noise, I doubt this is the case.
