I prefer Squirrelmail.
Intergrates with most IMAP's, LDAP addressbook, nice pretty menu
script for configuring servers, and is simple.
The debian stable version is pretty good but if you want something
with a little more recent either grab unstable or from backports.or
I like Squirrelmail myself, because it's fairly minimalistic, and it was
the first webmail system I found myself using, and never felt the urge
to use anything else.
I used NeoMail for a little while, didn't think it was too bad, but
personally it's Squirrelmail for me.

a Netgear WG511 802.11g wireless card to put in it. The pcmcia card is
(obviously) a 32bit card. Up to this point I've only used 16bit cards in

I've found kdm so irritating, I boot to a prompt now and the startx for

applying swsusp2 patches. First I tried with my current config file
(2.6.7) but the frambuffer seemed not be working properly. Using

I am trying to install sarge on a HP Workstation with a Seagate SCSI
disk on an Adaptec 7902 Ultra 320 SCSI adapter. However, the installer
fails to detect the hard disk at all. There was no such problem when
installing Redhat 9. Redhat loads the module aic79xx.o before the

Is it possible to force console output (e.g. messages when new hardware
is detected, disk errors, etc) to go to a different device? Either an
xterm or, better yet, a remote ssh connection? I do a lot of hardware
troubleshooting remotely via SSH and it would be a LOT easier if I could

But I need to use /etc/resolv.conf with a nameserver line to be

I'm getting the above error messsage, from libglade when I start synaptic.
the /usr/share/synaptic/glade/dialog_update_outdated.glade file is not
found. Synaptic then aborts. How do I recover from this? Do I have to
re-install/re-configure synaptic?

have been a checkbox that said "OSS emulation". This is not
the same as OSS sound. It is OSS emulation via ALSA.
