I think I've spent too much time messing with my fonts, reading TrueType, AA, and de-uglification HOWTOs, and messing things up with msttcorefonts. Is it possible to get really nice looking fonts overall? Any help on any of these would be helpful. I have some screen shots. 1) http://hank.org/f

Hello Where do I save the settings in iptables so that on reboots the settings are reinstated? I read that they are saved in /etc/sysconfig/iptables.rules.  I tried that and it didn’t work.  I also saw a file /etc/iptables that has the rules in it but that didn’t work either.   Reaz

gpg weirdness

I have enabled dial on demand, it works great except sometimes it dials up by itself. I assume by some program trying to access and unknown ip address. How do I find out what programms are using my ppp link ? ps ax | grep ppp tells me ppp is active, but what caused it to activate and what program
