Hello there everybody,
I just installed Debian 2.2r5 and Gnome. For some
reason though, I can't seem to be able to move some application windows!!! The
menubar is there on top-left part of my screen but I cannot drag and move it. It
just detaches and moves without the rest of the window.

For starters, you are, of course, using a 2.4.* kernel, correct?

Hi
I used to have one network card in my debian machine, this was fine
debian setup set it up for me. I have now put another two cards in there and
do not know how to configure them with debian. Two of the cards are Ne2000
ISA cards:
Ne2000 ISA 0x300 irq=5
Ne2000 ISA 0x320 irq=3

I'm sure there's a way to set up Courier to do it, but you really
wouldn't want to. My old employer had a 30-day purging policy for mail,
and I can't tell you how many pissed off users I had to deal with when
they lost their mail. Outlook also has a very nice Auto-Archive function
which can either

Ugh. That's a real pain; users won't like that. There's gotta be a way
Courier can do it.

Yeah. Did this last week--sorry, the computer is in Berlin so at
the moment I only have my memory to consult. But I believe the
deal was, don't put "ppp" and "pro

Stay away from Linksys Proconnect switches. They are
crap. I have three computers hooked up to a four port
switch. Once everything is running it works just
fine, but booting from a total shutdown is a pain:
the kvm won't recognize the keyboard unless you power
up the switch at exactly the right

There are those who think that 2.2 is more stable than 2.4 in
production server environments.
Being a home user, I haven't had any problems with 2.4, starting
with 2.4.3,
