well, try to understand what ETRN does. POP3 means you log into a POP3
server, give it the clear-text password, and then RETR your mail

The only problem I have ever seen with testing is with the installation
floppies. They dont work 100% of the time for me. But the distri
It's generally better to go with the higher resolution 100 dpi
fonts, right? With the latest upgrade, I swapped the order of the
fonts in /etc/X11/fs/config and /etc/X11/XF86Config-4 so that the
100 dpi fonts would take precedence.
Unfortunately, this makes the fonts HUGE. Specifically,

Hello
I want to install the current stable
version (in my opinion this is potatoe) on my pc at home.
This pc has an old 90MHz pentium, 64 MB Ram, 10GB
SCSI Harddisk and a SCSI
Cd-Rom with an ADAPTEC Controller 294? an of course
a 1.44MB floppy.
At the moment this pc has no

This sounds about right; it's what I did. I used the debian source
packages (i2c-source and lm-sensors-source, as I recall).
You do need to disable i2c in the main kernel build.
I'm not sure what you mean by the phrase "outside the kernel". If you use
kernel-package it's all set up to build

I don't know if sid (unstable) can be installed directly.
I have successfully installed woody (testing) directly via ftp by following
the instructions at http://cdimage.debian.org/ch11.html, but substituting
/dists/stable/main/disks-/ with /dists/testing/main/disks-/current/

very easy way to fix this problem.
Goto a console, and as root, check to see if you have an /etc/X11/XF86Config-4
and an /etc/X11/XF86Config.
In my case, I had my original config
SOLVED! I just compiled the eepro100 support statically in the kernel
