I've been looking on the web, archives, docs on my system and can't find
what the formula is for converting blocks to MBs. Does anyone know how
to do this or where to find the info?

You must re-compile your kernel. You also need to
REMOVE ide cdrom support, because the scsi emulation
will replace the ide cdrom driver. This is needed
because CDRECORD only uses scsi protocol. You will
then access the cdrom as /dev/scd0. In my computer I
have a cdrw drive AND a real scsi cd r
You can put the cdrw drive as the master on the
secondary channel, and (if you want) put the old cd
rom drive as the slave. However unless you want to
copy cd's there is really no reason to even keep your
old cd rom drive, just use the cdrw as your cd rom
drive, most of them are as fast enough in

I want to change the CapsLock key to a CTRL key in my Linux console. I
see that there are two packages which manage this, either kbd or
console-tools. The latter is installed by default; is this the
preferred tool going forward?
