I have a 3COM 3c905TX network card and a Real3D StarFighter video card. When I
boot my machine, the PCI probe gives both of the cards the same IRQ number.
However, the network card is on bus 0 and the video card is on bus 1. Are the
different bus numbers because the network card is PCI

I just upgraded from BO to HAMM, ie. gs-aladdin 4 to gs-aladdin 5.
Before I had the problem that all my printouts started about 5cm too
low on the page (on my Epson Stylus Color 800). That has stopped now.
Instead the printouts are a bit too large now, so that they don't fit
on the page.

No matter whether I print via magicfilter or cat a file to /dev/lp1
my printer prints a line, waits something like 5 seconds, then

I've been trying to use wvdial to connect to my ISP but it fails. It
recognizes the username and password prompts, but my ISP provides a
menu that has 2 options for ppp (you can start it either by selecting
menu item "2" or typing "ppp"). The problem is that wvdial sees both

I have hamm Debian and exim as a mailer. Many users tell me that they
cannot enter in their mailboxes (mail clinet) or home boxes. You can see
the message file attached to this message. Could someone tell me why?

Are everyone running off the same machine, or do they have one
I have a problem with netscape that only one user cannot run it since
yesterday. I have check that it is the same version, I have checked that
it uses the same libs (using ldd) as for other users. Butonly for this
user it does not work. It just simply aborts and prints Abort.
What else can I check
I'm not the expert on Debian's finances, but here's my understanding.
