Hello. I'm trying to install 2.0 on a laptop. The base install (from floppies) seemed to go fine.
When I try to choose the FTP access method in dselect, though, I get the following error-message: perl: syntax error query/setup script returned error exit status 2 I ran dselect with the --debug option, but there was no more detail about the source of the error in the debug file (as far as I could see anyway). I've tried this both with the FTP process running and with it not running---doesn't make any difference. Any ideas where I could start to hunt down the problem? Jim
