I'm feeling rather silly about this question since it seems like it
should be easy. I've installed hamm before by downloading a bunch of
packages but then realised that at the price of the CDs, I might as
well order them.

find the program /home/user/.xinitrc. And that i should make sure

disk works, but I can't build my own kernel (reboots after 'loading

I have installed it to the point where I am using dselect to choose ftp for

I can connect to the ftp site but seconds later it says ftp disconnect and

Iam in intallation menu (access, update, install), then I press
intall, after 5min. decompressing Debian report like that:
install error 1, then i press ENTER and Linux return in first place
(install menu).
Why is that? What I press wrong or what I select to much?
Is this possible? I have g++ installed.
