I'm currently packing the Krystal-KDM-theme and so I've seen, that the

wrong :P, the soon to be uploaded packages are going to be 3.4.2, where the
bug is fixed

I too confirm this bug. When it crashes there is no output. Strace
output also appeared to not be very useful. The fix mentioned above
does work:
