besides, even when assuming that it's posible to
always cleanly remove any of the packages installed just for getting
aptitude in, it tains the images with additional crap in dpkg.log and
other logfiles. so that is not an option.

Hi, are there any plans to make an upload soon to fix this bug, which makes KDE
uninstallable in sid? Right now the last comment saying the next upload
should fix it it almost a month old.

I had to enable antialiasing in /etc/fonts/local.conf in order to get
antialiasing in KDM. Perhaps this should be mentioned in the
documentation for KDM.
