I got the same error as Roger, but after some time it suddenly worked.

1.0.10+1.0.11rc3-1 version of alsa.

I read Park's "What's New" column (hosted by the American Physical
Society) every week. This week I tried for the first time to read it
using Konqueror.
The column, displayed fine by Firefox and Dillo, starts loading and is
visible until i

not been rebooted or upgraded since I observed the bug.
so you might want to mark this as "cannot duplicate" and close it.

Further information:
The problem seemed to correct itself, immediately after filing the ticket.
Not even a window movement or closing of a terminal window (in which I was
typing the bug report); and the problem seemed to be gone.

When changing the display resolution in the KDE control center, then
logging off and logging back on, the mouse cursor ends up offset from
the actual point that clicks occur on.
