Yes, I have successfully switched to use again the free drivers.
I have no problem with them, using kdm I can start KDE sessions twice.
These are the free drivers that I use, and that I had active before I
installed and activated the nvidia driver:

This bug is minor, so sadly the patch will not be accepted for wheezy now. The
new version of calligra (2.6) is not affected, as the icons were renamed, so I
mark it as won't fix.
