I don't want those pieces of crap to automount my devices, since this nasty hal
bug seems to be ignored:

So it would be nice if those were

Hi,
I have raised question of C-only API on upstream mailling list and I was
asked what functions would be needed from this API. Could we make such
list and I will work with upstream to have such API available for
etch+1.

Hi,
Today I did an upgrade of the KDE packages and I can report *verbatim* all the
problems and behaviours of Konqueror reported by Brian Bassett.
As suggested by Brian, rebooting fixed the problem.
I have Debian Etch/Testing machine on dual Xeon, Linux 2.6.16-2-686-smp (from a

I'm concerned. Puzzling, though.
This looks normal. You had a buggy version of kdelibs, and an upgrade
fixed it.
If anyone else than Ulf Leichsenring still experiences this issue in
testing, please report.

This appears to affect the menu shortcut too, so I'm retitling and

Upstream issued a patch and closed the bug report.
