Do you use each page as left page or do you change between right and
left binding. If you use the last one then you hava a blank paper each
time for the right binding page.

I set an absolute symling to /usr/share/applications as Rene described.
Then it is possible to copy an libreoffice entry from menu to desktop.
Also there is no error message in the preferences of the new icon at the
desktop.

Is it right you get "#Name?" in the second example as result?
Then you have to change the decimal separator to "," (comma) for the
German version. Then you get "0" (zero) as result.
This works well in the actual libreoffice version 3.5.3-5.
